Round 1 coming up!

It's been a couple of weeks since I did a weekly check in.  Coming back from vacation, getting the girls ready for school, starting school and then a wedding put me a little behind on some of my blogging.  Now that all of that is over, I can get back to my blogging schedule.

Last week I finished up Slim in 6.  It was a challenge to get through the workouts because I was ready to move on to something else.  A few weeks back, I ordered Body Gospel.  It's a program that I've wanted to start since I attended the Beachbody Summit back in the spring.  I was really moved by the stories that were presented to us.  For me, I feel that I've been lacking something in my life and knew that I needed to put God back into it.  This is a program that combines faith and fitness and what better way to combine two things that I need in my life.

Next, I need to make sure that I'm eating properly.  It's so easy to get side tracked.  Family, friends, events and all sorts of things can lead you in the wrong direction.  It's easy to do!  I've made wrong choices and unfortunately seen what can happen.  So, I will continue to journal my food intake and watch my calories and try to eat clean whenever possible.  I will remember that this is a life long commitment and not a quick fix.  I need to be able to make this plan work for my lifestyle so that I will continue to stick with it.

So, that is my plan for this week.  I'm happy with the results that I got from Slim in 6.  It's a program that really does work!!  What do you have planned for the week?

I am definitely working on consisent exercise day-to-day! Great job with finishing slim in 6 and I can't wait to hear more about Body Gospel from you! I seem to do better when I put God first in my weight loss, but sometimes I catch myself putting him and my Bible reading, or praying on the back burner! Have a good week!

Let me know how that Body Gospel program is. I'd be really interested in what you think about it!

Hope the fall routine comes easily and you can get right back into things :)

Being out of routine is the hardest part for me too. Remembering to right back into your healthy habits when back into your routine is the important part and it sounds like you're nailing it - way to go!

Hi there! Sounds like good goals to me. I want to get to eating a fairly clean diet with maybe something for a treat on the weekend from the farmers market!!

That BodyGospel is a brilliant idea! Glad it helped you!

I hate when my normal routine gets disrupted. It's no fun. It's hard to get back into it as well.

Making myself do stuff I don't want to do is always a challenge.

Have a great week, you can do this!

I just want my bathroom back. It's such a stressful time right now. I leave the house to work out so I can get away from the remodeling nightmare. lol
